Shadow Of The Eternals Insanity System Explained In New Dev Diary

Twitch.TV Broadcasts Scheduled

With eight days left to raise two thirds of their Kickstarter funding target, Precursor Games have released some footage showing off how players will become increasingly deranged while playing Shadow Of The Eternals. Much like its spiritual predecessor Eternal Darkness, encountering cyclcopean horrors from beyond the pale gradually leads to all manner of bizarre visual effects and fourth-wall breaking chicanery.

You can check out the new developer diary after the break, along with details of two scheduled live broadcasts on Twitch.TV. Will Precursor Games be able to fund the game this third time? It's got David Hayter, you know.

Chief Creative Officer Denis Dyack and the rest of the team at Precursor Games are inviting the Twitch.TV community into the development process of Shadow of the Eternals with two scheduled broadcasts on Precursor’s official Twitch page. Who knows? Exclusive insights into Shadow of the Eternals might be unveiled. Join us!

  • Who: Precursor Games
  • What: Live broadcast of Shadow of the Eternals playthrough, community chat and discussion
  • When: Thursday, August 15th from 11 am-2 pm PST and Monday, August 19th from 2-5 pm PST
  • Where: www.twitch.tv/precursorgames

Personally, I'm not convinced that Shadow Of The Eternals can raise the lion's share of $500,000 over the next week - but I'm always happy to be proven wrong. Have Dyack and the team won you over?
