We're not big fans of Wet here at Dealspwn. Sure, it had promise, and it didn't take itself as seriously as half the po-faced hack and slash adventures out there do. But between the sub-par visuals and so-so combat, it quietly shuffled into the shadows of obscurity in the Dealspwn mindset. And so it's of no surprise to hear work on the sequel - the imaginatively titled Wet 2 - might now be over.
According to a certain Ian Cromier's resume on perennial secret-spiller site, LinkedIn, work on Wet 2 has stopped and the title has been duly cancelled. Not convinced? Well, another LinkedIn profile, that of Pierre-Vincent Bélisle, reveals he worked on Wet 2, but lists it as a "past project". Sadly, Cromier's resume has been pulled, and Behaviour Interactive have yet to clarify the situation. Although considering original publishers, Bethesda, distanced themselves from the project a while ago, it's not all that surprising now, is it? [Eurogamer]
