Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments Trailer Flaunts New Engine

Well, Unreal Engine 3, that is. The latest in Frogware's Sherlock Holmes series promises to deliver a full graphical overhaul compared to the original bespoke engine, with this latest tech demo showing off some of the new visuals and gameplay opportunities that Crimes & Punishments promises to offer.

Don't worry fans, because Creepy Watson will still be available as an optional mode. We'll find out more details in June.

Lol... Sherlock Holmes Tech Demo.

First off, that is such a contradiction in terms.

Next off, it's a flythrough and does not really show off what people really wanted improving and that was being able to walk from one side of a room to the other without getting stuck on the edge of a box of matches.

That said, it does look very nice and the UE3 is great to work on, so I am hopeful this will be a huge leap forward for the game.
