Shoot and loot with friends: Destiny beta codes include two extra guest passes

Destiny's long-awaited beta is set to start next week on PlayStation consoles, but eager pre-order customers have discovered a nice little surprise from Bungie. Instead of a single code equating to a single beta entry, you're also able to bring a couple of mates along for the ride.

Specifically, each code will grant you three beta keys on the platform you request, "enough to field a full Fireteam on the console of your choosing!" We suspect to see a few keys ending up on eBay, but most players will want to grab a couple of their best, most reliable and skilful online friends and explore Bungie's new world together.

DualShockers reports that the beta registration site won't dispense codes until the day of the 17th, so you've got time to pick exactly who you're bringing along (we'd recommend a Halo elimination tournament since the two games feel mechanically very similar). Apparently registration isn't yet available for EU PS4 owners, but this will open soon according to the latest update from Bungie.

Soon. So soon. Who's in?

So just so i can make this a little clearer for myself, if you had a beta code and redeemed it, bungie will send you three keys? so three different psn accounts could play i.e i could give two of the keys to two friends and the one key to myself? just to clear it up my head cant process it properly lol

@James180612: When you redeem a beta code, you'll be sent three keys to use/share as you see fit. :) AFAIK they'll be sent out next week.

Now more people can see just how utterly underwhelming the whole experience is and ponder along with me what people have been creaming their pants over since the alpha.

The game plays like a Fallout/Borderlands clone that takes place in a Halo-esque universe and I certainly can't see what any of the excitement is about. It's just another FPS... yet another FPS that does exactly the same as every other one.

So I think I just accidentally redeemed 2 of my beta codes for Xbox 360 on the same account...does this mean that I now have only 1 code to give a friend or will something realize that two codes were used on the same account and so Only one was actually used?
