Silent Hill HD Collection No Longer PS3 Exclusive

It won't just be Playstation 3 owners able to (re)live the scares of Silent Hill 2 and 3 early next year, as Konami have today announced that Silent Hill: HD Collection will be coming to Microsoft's Xbox 360 console as well.

While it's hard not to be a little gutted at the omission of the seminal and original Silent Hill title, as well as the clunky (but still excellent Silent Hill 4), there are more than enough reasons to go and buy the HD Collection regardless, particularly seeing as the RRP is floating around about the £25 mark.

James Sunderland's tragic tale of love and loss is masterfully told in Silent Hill 2, and Heather's Silent Hill 3 venture into the creepiest town on earth stands alongside it as one of the most frightening experiences you're likely to have in gaming.  And so Playstation owners are left with one (two?) less classic to call their own.

There was an exclusive here.  It's gone now.

So, 2 games is a "collection" now eh? Shame they didn't do a proper job and do at least 1, 2 and 3.

4 I could take or leave, but not including 1 is shameful. It even already had a remake of sorts for the Wii, just put that on!
