Hot on the heels of Sims 3 'Medieval' comes 'Generations', an expansion that allows you to "let your inner prankster out," which will be hitting (virtual) store shelves worldwide next week. The expansion is set to flesh out each stage of the Sims lifecycles, “from exploring the creative and playful childhood years, the angst-ridden defiant teenager years, to the moment of time when adults celebrate life through stag parties and weddings."
Generations is set to offer players a greater degree of interaction between members of their virtual populace. Children are able to congregate in treehouses that adopt a variety of different themes dressed as dinosaurs and the like, and rebellious teenagers can be grounded for "pulling pranks and trying to sneak out".
Along with stag parties and weddings come a number of additional career options for adult Sims:
Whether the player prefers to design houses as a builder, create moments as a storyteller, be mischievous as an experimenter, or fulfill lifetime wishes as an achiever, they’ll be able to explore every phase of life with new gameplay features, moodlets, objects and more that are specific to each age.
Mid-life crises can now afflict your Sims, causing them to change their looks and even their careers. No one said it was all going to be fun and games.
We're sure you all know what to expect from a Sims expansion by now, and rest assured we'll be hunting for a deal to save you money on that mid-life crisis you've been saving for...
