The My Sims series uses the insidious branding to tout all manner of tat to our nation's children... but you have to give Sky Heroes credit for trying something different. It's been a while since Crimson Skies and even Snoopy: Flying Ace, and EA almost succeeded at cornering the market with a new accessible arcade dogfighter. Creating your own plane from unlockable parts is absolutely awesome, but unfortunately unbalanced gameplay makes the proceedings a little too frustrating for the target audience. Still, being able to unlock super-deformed Morrigan from Dragon Age is an absolute blast. A step in the right direction for the My Sims franchise.
