Love it or hate it, Nordic Games' We Sing series has been thriving on the Wii, granting its players the opportunity to belt out some themed tracks, watch the official videos and thoroughly embarrass themselves in front of friends and family. We were wondering whether they were running out of niches since We Sing UK Hits, We Sing Rock and We Sing Pop released over the last few months, but it appears that the ninth title will focus exclusively on the 80s. Expect many power ballads.
We Sing 80s will include 30 tracks from the decade that brought us ballads, soft rock, power lunches and legwarmers, playable by up to four simultaneous players. As usual, it will feature multiple competitive and cooperative modes, jukebox functionality and a solo singing school.
This addition to the We Sing collection will replicate everything that the 80s was adored for. The game’s customisable interface means that it will be packed full of flamboyance, big hair and disco colours as we continue to provide fans and new friends of the series with a fresh singing experience. - Nik Blower, Nordic Games Sales and Marketing Director
Wii Sing 80s has been dated for October, and I daresay that most of you will have already cleared your schedule. Maybe.
