If you're a hardened extremes sports fan with aspirations of becoming the next Tony Hawk or Bob Burnquist, then you might want to check out Skate 3, especially if you want to attempt a couple of ridiculous tricks without having to worry about appearing on Scarred.
NB. Remember to use the following code to get the game at the advertised price: FTSL15-1
Tesco Entertainment are parting with copies of the game on both PS3 and 360 for £16.15 provided that you haven't already used their money saving code, and lets face it you probably have because it's been in use for quite a while now, in which case your best bet is to head on over to The Hut where you can grab a copy on either platform for £17.93. Also, make sure you use the code before the end of August because that's when it expires.

As with the previous games, you'll be ably to pull of street and vert tricks using the 'flick-it' system, and I find that being able to pull of graceful moves in skateboarding games is incredibly rewarding.
There are three new multiplayer modes including 1-Up where your team has a set amount of time to form a score which the opposing team then has to beat, Domination involves claiming as many spots around the environment as possible, and during the course of Own The Lot you have to complete a number of objectives in order to win.
Also, in this instalment you can create your own skateparks if you get bored cruising around the various levels that are present in the game.
If you're a fan of the series so far then this is definitely worth a look, although you shouldn't have any trouble with it if you haven't played the previous games.
