Sniper Elite 3 & Kinect Sports Rivals to be at Gadget Show Live 2014

Transformers Universe, Ali-A to also be in attendance

With April fast approaching, it’s almost time for this year’s Gadget Show Live at the NEC in Birmingham. Taking place between the 9th and 13th, the event will once again feature its Game Zone alongside the weird and wonderful demonstrations of upcoming consumer technology. We’ll be in attendance at this year’s event (along with Toby the Dealspwny, of course) as it contains exclusive opportunities for the public hands-on time with a few upcoming games, one of which will be a world first hands-on of Sniper Elite 3, providing yet more bone-braking, organ ripping Nazi slaughter.

Which is nice.

As well as the latest instalment of Rebellion’s FPS series, Xbox One exclusive Kinect Sports Rivals will be available to for the last time head of its release later in the week, and upcoming MMO Transformers Universe will be in attendance ahead of its expected release in the summer. You can also expect to see some of the recent big hitters for both the PS4 and Xbox One, with Titanfall, Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, and Forza 5 all confirmed to be on the show floor as well, should you want a chance to see what all the fuss is about.

Returning for presenting duties on the Game Zone stage are Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries (formerly Max & OB from Hollyoaks) of We Got Game, who will oversee a bunch of activities and competitions over the course of the week-long event. Also making an appearance on Wednesday 9th will be YouTube sensation and Call of Duty personality Alia-A, and those of you making your way there can even put those gaming skills of yours to the test in the Tournament Zone to win some prizes.

If any of that has piqued your interest, there are tickets still available, details for which can be found by going to the Gadget Show Live website. As I said at the top of this post, we will be there to get ours hands-on with the best stuff, and who knows who the Dealspwny will bump into this year (last year he was schmoozing with the likes of Master Chief and Luigi, because he’s cool like that) so if you're planning on attending be sure to let us know in the comments!
