City Interactive has announced another delay to CryEngine 3-powered shooter sequel Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, which will push it back to January 15th, 2013 according to the official wesbsite.
"It's key we all want this title to be fantastic in the genre and the leading SNIPER game for sure," a Namco Bandai Partners PR Director told Videogamer. "The engine is fantastic and the level of polish is also key to the title's success. As soon as the official announcement through distributors is available I will provide it." A full statement is expected later today.
More polish certainly couldn't hurt Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, seeing as it's the sequel to an entirely unstable and mediocre (though bizarrely successful) first outing. We're willing to wait. To tide you over, here's our latest Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 hands-on preview.
