Snoop Dogg inexplicably touts Rayman Legends on PS4 & Xbox One

Rayman Legends makes its legendary way to PS4 and Xbox One on February 28th, Ubisoft announced today, via a new trailer featuring... Snoop Dogg?

We have absolutely no idea why either. In fact, this appears to be an advert for Snoop Dogg rather than Rayman.

Never mind though, because the more people who play this stupendous platformer, the better. Trailer and details below.

We all love getting a little extra, so both ports contain a few bonus features. The Xbox One version will feature Splinter Ray, Ray Vaas and Globox Vaas skins, alongside ten exclusive challenges to strive for. The PS4 port, meanwhile, will feature the Assassin Ray skin and touchpad support.

It's worth noting that Rayman Legends already runs at native 1080p, 60FPS on last-gen hardware, for you graphics hounds out there - but it looks great because of Ancel's stupendous art design. More games need to follow its example by focusing on their aesthetics, not just their benchmarks.

Rayman Legends received a perfect score from us, and may feature in our Games Of The Generation countdown at some point...

A few insignificant bonus features? Oh good - that'll justify the price (I'm guessing by next Feb it'll be around £45 on current gen and around £12 on last gen).

And yet I find myself waiting for the xbox One version rather than getting the 360 version now... (Probably because Snoop wants me to buy it.)

As with Origins, get the Vita version if you can. It's just the best. Your eyes with weep with satisfaction.

I've almost got 1000G on the 360 version of this (The awesomeness 11 grind takes so long despite me being in the top 300 for cups in the world) .

I'll definitely be buying the XBone version on release day then I can unplug the 360 once and for all....

Or just move it to the bedroom, I'm sure the Mrs won't mind.
