Sonic and the Black Knight is the series take on an Arthurian Legend, where you'll have to defeat King Arthur who has turned into the evil Black Knight after being possessed. Visually the game is very good, but you can't help but feel that it's just an elaborate ruse to distract you from some awful gameplay. To fight off enemies, which is pretty much all you'll be doing, you just need to shake the Wii mote, but unfortunately due to the numerous assailants in the game you'll end up frustrated with the lack of variety in the controls and a wrecked wrist.
Madworld is an ultra violent heavily combat based title with a great storyline that feels like a merging of Sin City and The Running Man. The black and white colouring for the game is a great touch that makes the appearance of vivid red blood all the more shocking and helps the comic book style pop-up bits of text vibrantly stand out in comparison.
Sonic Unleashed is a much more typical title in the series pitting you against Dr. Eggman (or Dr. Robotnik depending on your preference) once again. The game's a nice blend of classic 2D and modern 3D environments that take part during the day and at night. In the nighttime sections of the game Sonic will transform into a lumbering Werehog that slows down our favourite sound barrier breaking mammal.
So, if you're looking for a bit of Sonic action or a completely over the top fighter in terms of violence, then this is probably the deal for you.
