Kurt Sutter, the creator of leather-soaked, hog-riddled US TV extravaganza Sons of Anarchy has suggested that a tie-in video game for the series is in the pipeline.
"SOA GAME UPDATE. had a great meeting with a big distributor yesterday. myself and everyone at FX and Fox is committed to making this happen," he tweeted.
Sutter continued to warble about general ideas for the game, suggesting that he wanted to make sure the game wasn't "some slapcrap browser MP thing'.
"Yes, we definitely wanna do a REAL game. console based. not some slapcrap browser MP thing. it'll take awhile, but it's the right way to go."
He also made note of another TV series-turned-gaming-series, but said that he found Telltale's recent Walking Dead title rather "unsatisfying".
"Played the WD game; really wanted to love it...but it felt rushed and a bit unsatisfying. sorry."
There's no indication as yet of who's involved, who'll be taking the reins on development, or even a timeframe, but fans of the series can now go nuts contemplating gameplay possibilities.
