Sony Confirms Vita-PSP Multiplayer Connectivity

Sony has confirmed that the PS Vita will be able to connect with original PSPs in Ad-Hoc mode, meaning that a huge number of backwards-compatible downloadable titles can be played locally with gamers who own the original games on the PSP system. Ad-Hoc multiplayer certainly isn't as prevalent here in the UK as it is in Japan, but it's good to know that we can still get involved with some Monster Hunter Portable or Phantasy Star Portable sessions. SWERY65's recently-unveiled Lords Of Apocalypse will be released on both platforms and will definitely benefit from this announcement.

It's just another feather in a rather impressive cap, to be honest.
