Next on the agenda at their E3 2011 conference live in Los Angeles right now, Sony unveiled a new Sly Cooper title for release in 2012. Thieves in Time boasts a frankly jaw-dropping aesthetic - if that was in-game footage - and appears to have all the same platforming, thieving traits of the original.
However, when Sly appears to reach his hideout, tossing a sack of loot on the table, he reveals himself to actually be Dimitri, the fan-favorite iguana, who breaks into cacophonous song so loud it shatters all the lights. Sly remarks that it's the last time he's left alone in the hideout, before the title and 2012 release date flashes. We're over the moon with this one!
