Sony fixes PS4 Rest Mode issue in new firmware update

The PS4's 'Masamune' firmware update brought a slew of great new features to the console experience, such as Share Play, but it wasn't quite perfect. Many gamers reported that their consoles refused to boot up after being put into Rest Mode, which isn't what any of us signed up for!

Thankfully Sony have sorted things out by way of a new patch, update 2.0.1, which is rolling out today according to the latest tweet from PlayStation Europe. Sorted. Hopefully.

If you haven't tried out Share Play yet, we'd highly suggest you give it a whirl after checking out Matt and Carl's PS4 Share Play Video. If you suffered from the PS4 Rest Mode issue, let us know in the comments!
