Sony has apologised for yet another Last Guardian no-show, explaining that Fumito Ueda's ambitious project is still deep in development.
"I apologise to people who are waiting for the game," Yoshida told assembled press after the PS4 reveal event in New York [via Gamespot]. "Ueda-san posted that he's still working on it, that he's creative-directing it and that the team in the Japan studios are working hard."
"We are waiting for the right time to re-introduce The Last Guardian."
Many expected Sony to reveal The Last Guardian as a PS4 launch title, despite multiple Sony execs claiming that it's still a PS3 exclusive. Either way, after years of delays, I daresay that we can wait a little longer. Or forget about it entirely for a while.
