Sony To Refund All Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn PSN Customers

Following what can only be described as a shambolic launch for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Sony are refunding everyone who bought the MMO digitally on the PlayStation Network. The funds will be automatically credited to each customer's PSN wallet, while the game entitlement will be reset, allowing you to re-purchase it again down the line should you want to.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn was only available on PSN between August 27th and 28th, before being yanked due to major server and character creation issues. PC players recently got a week of free subscription by way of apology. [EU PlayStation Blog]

Isn't this technically the second time this game has been released? What are they playing at?
