Splinter Cell: Blacklist Playthrough Showcases Pure Stealth Gameplay

As we told you in our E3 2012 preview, Splinter Cell: Blacklist plans to simultaneously support many styles of play. Though the E3 and Gamescom playthroughs were played through for dramatic thrills, this new narrated trailer demonstrates that levels can be approached with pure 'ghost-style' stealth rather than gunplay and action. It's the same scene... but an entirely different experience.

Ubisoft promise that Blacklist will provide opportunities for action, stealth and tactical gameplay at all times, making this one of the most ambitious entries in the series to date. I daresay that this trailer will put a fair few people's minds at ease for the time being.

Liking the look of this much more. Smart move on Ubi's part showing us the same E3 stage but with traditional stealth gameplay. With this, Hitman: Absolution and ACIII, third-person stealth is coming back strong.
