New Splinter Cell: Blacklist Video Features Co-Op Mission Walkthrough

Ubisoft Toronto have released a new video for Splinter Cell: Blacklist showcasing a co-op gameplay walkthrough of a mission set in the English Channel.

The mission is titled "Sea Fort" and the video sees Splinter Cell community developer Zack Cooper and lead co-op designer Richard Carrillo sneaking through the level using plenty of stealthy tactics and distraction mechanisms to bypass guards achieve their goals.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist launches on PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on August 23rd here in the UK, and August 20th in the US.

This was the worst thing about Splinter Cell for me. Stopping the game when you get seen.

This video puts me off getting it.

@Zeipher: FYI, I actually played this stage during a lengthy preview session. Insta-fail stealth seems to very rare and tends to be limited to optional side missions - like this one. You don't have to play it if you don't fancy it.

That said, I only played the first 3 hours of the campaign. The rest is anybody's guess.

@JonLester - I loved the last game, but there was one level in Conviction which made me start all over again repeatedly. I plan on playing the game on co-op, but the person I usually play it with... generally isn't stealthy... in the slightest.

I'll probably still get it, but it does put me off. I might wait until it's cheaper.
