Is this a sign of things to come, or are Square Enix just preparing for all eventualities, you know, just to be safe? The only thing we know for certain is that the publisher has been snapping up domain names for Just Cause 4 - JustCause4.com, JustCause4.fr, JustCause4.co.uk, JustCause4.de, and JustCause4.it.
Just Cause 2 was the last game in the series. We gave it 8/10 in our review, and said the following:
There are a few niggling issues to be aware of, but take a holiday to Panau with Rico and you can be assured of three things: you’ll be bowled over by the sheer beauty and size of the island, you’ll find yourself constantly distracted by new areas to explore and things to do, and you’ll have an absolute blast. Literally.
Square Enix are yet to announce anything regarding Just Cause 3 let alone a further sequel, but with E3 just around the corner, could they be pre-empting an unfavourable scenario and acting defensively because there's a reveal coming up? We'll have to wait a couple of weeks to find out. [via Fusible]
