Reports suggests that the new Final Fantasy XII-2 Ultimania guide books hold a few newsworthy tidbits towards the end, with staff interviews from the producers at the end of the book hinting at further story content continuing the adventures of the some of the characters from the Final Fantasy XIII saga.
According to andriasang, "director Motomu Toriyama and producer Yoshinori Kitase reveal plans for character specific episodes to follow the main XIII-2 release. They refer to XIII-2 as the game's "Noel and Serah Volume." We can also expect a Lightning Volume, a Snow Volume, a Sazh Volume, and more".
This news comes via Intermezzo's interpretation of the guide books themselves, and although it looks like there may well be more narrative treats to come, the article also noted that this might not be in the form of DLC, with Toriyama and Kitase suggesting that they have a variety of media in mind, such as novels.
