S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky £4.95 @ Zavvi [PC Game]

Venture into the irradiated ruins of Chernobyl and uncover its mutated mysteries by purchasing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky from Zavvi for only £4.95!

Dropped into a price-comparison reactor, Zavvi’s offer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky emerged as the cheapest deal around, with a two-pound saving! The prequel to the critically acclaimed S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Clear Sky earned 75/100 on MetaCritic, with critics impressed by the attention to detail, gritty, believable setting and inherent PC advantages.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky is set a year prior to the original, with a team of Stalkers managing to infiltrate the Zone’s fabled Chernobyl Power Plant. An unexpected explosion of unknown energy demolishes much of the Zone, wiping away entire regions, with only the Stalker, Scar, surviving. Scar is rescued by Clear Sky, a clandestine organisation who covet the mysteries of the Zone, chief among them Scar himself, whose inexplicable survival may yield further clues.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky is a first-person shooter, set in the open-world of the Zone. It includes the tropes of various genres, from action-shooter to survival-horror. Ammo and equipment are scarce and must be scavenged and rationed, despite the warring factions Scar is bound to encounter and engage in bloody and messy combat with.

The atmosphere in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky is unparalleled. The stormy skies churn above the rubble and ruin of the Zone, with demolished cities and enclaves giving way to barren plains and sparse forests. With a powerful computer and capable screen and sound-system, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky offers a visual and audio experience unseen since Crysis.
