Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II | £28 | Tesco Direct & Amazon | Xbox 360

Oh, LucasArts. How the mighty have fallen. I'm not a fan of The Force Unleashed series. I think it relies far too much on the 'promise' of a force-centric adventure, when in fact the execution leaves a lot to be desired. However, I'm not here to judge, and both Amazon and Tesco Direct have slashed the price on The Force Unleashed 2 to just £28. So, depending on whether whatever outlet you favor, you can nab this, admittedly spectacular-looking, Star Wars mishap for a very good price.

Did you guys post this when you could have bought the collector's edition for 23 quid on gameplay's website, or did you miss it?

Finger on the pulse and all that.

"If there's a massive saving to be had, we'll find it" eh? Don't think so, half of your staff are probably scouring the net looking for bargain priced nappies or some shit like that to stick to stick on your play penors site!

Certainly a good reduction on the £39.99 being charged at Game and Gamestation. However, it is woefully short, the enemies are largely identical throughout the game and the (almost non-existent) plot is beyond poor. The endgame is also unnaturally stretched in that it suddenly turns into a platformer in a vain attempt to squeeze a few more minutes play in.

However, the 4-5 hours it took to complete the game were entertaining in places, which only served to make me angrier at its' lack of length. I traded it in while I could still recoup a few quid.

I would suggest that people leave this well alone until it reaches £10-£15 or rent the game. I do intend to repurchase it, but only when it appears in bargain bins.

This really should have been called Star Wars - The Force Unfinished. And this comes from someone who has loved Star Wars since it was released in 1977.

I bought the CE of FU II and the original Sith Edition, so far loving the first, hoping to get the Platinum trophy.
