State Of Decay is one of this year's Xbox Live Arcade highlights, but plenty of players have been holding onto the promise of a PC version. After months of silence on the subject, Undead Labs has now confirmed that the port is coming later this year, complete with enhanced visuals.
"Will the PC version have enhanced graphics? Higher res? Improved framerate? Yes," writes Undead Labs in a summary of a recent livestream. "A high end PC can do all those things, so we're modifying the game to support those things. The PC version will not have different content or features, however."
"What the PC version also won't have are modding tools (for time/testing reasons), but we have no objection to mods or modders, and we look forward to seeing what our PC players come up with."
State Of Decay's PC version was dated simply for "2013," with a promise to "be more specific as soon as we can." We know that many of you will be watching this like a hawk, so we'll bring you the latest as we hear it.
