Stealth Inc 2 is Wii U exclusive, massively expands gameplay

Curve Studios are indie heroes, using their Sony connections to help get quality games onto the PS3, PS4 and Vita, but it all started with their Stealth Bastard series. This sadistic puzzle-platformer was designed around pure stealth, somewhere between Super Meat Boy and Splinter Cell, and eventually found its way to Steam, PS3 and Vita as the renamed Stealth Inc.

A sequel was inevitable and has now officially sneaked out of the darkness. Stealth Inc. 2 will feature expanded stealth gameplay, with challenge rooms linked by a MetroidVania overworld, feature cooperative play and dwarf the original in terms of scale. It's slated to release in "Q4 2014" on the... ooh, hang about. This is rather exciting.

Stealth Inc 2 the first Wii U title in Curve Studios' lineup, and has been billed as exclusive. Whether full or timed, it's great to see Nintendo's console receiving increasing interest from independent developers and more games to shout about. More as we hear it.

Very surprised at this.
Look - I even posted an emoticon to show how surprised I am at this.

I enjoyed Stealth B*stard on the pc, and would've paid for it or it's sequel on the xbox (not that Curve ever seem to have much to do with Microsoft).

Great news for Wii U owners, and tbh is a bigger draw for me than some of their more prominent exclusives (I'd much prefer this to Bayonetta, for instance!)

Shame the Wii U isn't available in some sort of £199 bundle, eh?

"OHHHHHH," as we very much enjoy saying around here.

However, you're right, it does feel like an odd move for a sequel as opposed to a new franchise, but Curve hopes to spearhead the Wii U side of things as much as they helped other indies get onto PSN. I like it.

You swerved his name. Have we settled on Tony, now, or is he still Toby? (Tony makes so much more sense. But I don't want him getting confused.)
