Steam Summer Sale 2011 Roundup - Monday 4th July

  • What: Steam Summer Sale 2011
  • Where: Steam

I'll start off with a deal that'll take you down memory lane thanks to a lovely franchise sale. If you're a first person shooter fan then you've got to get your hands on the Doom Complete pack in the sales because it contains The Ultimate Doom, Final Doom, Doom II, Master levels for Doom II, Doom 3, and Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil, all for a jaw dropping £4.99, which I think you'll agree is pretty damn good. The price reduction on Serious Sam HD isn't bad at all and you can also get hold of Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter and Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, which have both had their prices slashed too. Grabbing Bionic Commando in the sales'll save you £2 on the next best offer and if you're feeling nostalgic you can get hold of the original NES game as well, which has been updated for the PC. Making a saving of almost £6 on Fallout: New Vegas isn't bad at all because it's packed full of content, and if you want a bit more to keep you going then you've always got the option of buying the Dead Money and Honest Hearts add-on packs for considerably less than usual. The Mount & Blade series' price has had a chunk knocked out of it, which means that you can practically get hold of all three games for the price of one.

Singularity's a great little game, which is very underrated and you should think about checking it out now because you'll make yourself a saving of almost £15 on the next best offer out there. And last but not least, you can snatch up a copy of Trine for £1.69, which'll save you almost £9.
