- What: Steam Summer Sale 2011
- Where: Steam
Not only are there some great deals over at Steam today, there are some pretty good franchise sales too! The best of the bunch has got to be the very low £4.99 price tag that's been slapped on Transformers: War For Cybertron, which'll save you a staggering £20 on the next best offer coming in from Play! If you like roaming around open worlds that have a fantasy edge, then you might want to grab Two Worlds II and save yourself over £13. Jon really enjoyed the sniping sections of Sniper: Ghost Warrior, but unfortunately the rest of the game was a bit of a let down, then again if sniping's your thing then you'll probably want to check it out, and it's always nice when you're saving almost £7 in the process. Also, you can save around a fiver on both Defense Grid: The Awakening and Torchlight.
Now we'll move onto the franchise sales. The price drop on Assassins Creed Brotherhood isn't particularly great, however the other games in the series have been marked down as well, and you can grab a pack including Assassins Creed Director's Cut Edition, Assassins Creed 2 Deluxe Edition, and Assassins Creed Brotherhood, for an additional £2, which isn't a bad deal for three great games! Whilst purchasing Arma II in the sales'll save you less than £1, a lot of its DLC has been reduced in price, so you'll be able to keep the game going for a little bit longer. Finally, getting hold of a copy of Tropico 3'll save you over £3 and the expansion pack, Tropico 3: Absolute Power, has also had its price slashed.
