Steam Summer Sale 2011 Roundup - Tuesday 5th July

  • What: Steam Summer Sale 2011
  • Where: Steam

What's better than getting hold of one cheap Need For Speed game? Getting four that's what! Thanks to a nifty little franchise sale at Steam today, you can buy a pack containing Need For Speed: Undercover, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, Need For Speed: Shift, and Shift 2 Unleashed, for £24.99, which'll save you £17.36 altogether! I shouldn't have to tell you that getting Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Invisible War for just less than £3 is a bargain, especially when you'll be saving almost £5.50 on each of them, and what better way to get fired up for Deus Ex: Human Revolution than revisiting the first two games in the series. The Guild Wars Trilogy pack contains Guild Wars GOTY Edition, Guild Wars: Factions, and Guild Wars: Nightfall for £12.99, and purchasing this pack is pretty much the equivalent of getting three games for two. Also Guild Wars: Eye Of The North has had its price slashed, which is good if you're planning on picking up as much content as possible. King Arthur: The Role-playing Wargame has been reduced to £2.25, which'll make you a saving of almost £8, however the King Arthur Collection is only £3.75 at the moment, so not only will you still be making a saving you're practically getting all the DLC for free! S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow Of Chernobyl's not a bad little shooter and you can save over £3 by picking it up in the sale, plus you can get hold of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call Of Pripyat and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky at a reduced price as well.

Snatching a copy of Wings Of Prey'll save you almost £6 on the next best offer out there, or you could always run away with a copy of Beat Hazard, which'll save you just over £5. Finally, Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Sid Meiers Civilisation V are both good games to jump into when you want a bit of fun combined with satisfying gameplay, and you'll be able to save around £2 on both.
