Steam Summer Sale 2011 Roundup - Wednesday 6th July

  • What: Steam Summer Sale 2011
  • Where: Steam

If you're a fan of creating your own little worlds, then why not grab a copy of The Sims 3 in the sales and save yourself over £10 on the next best offer, or better yet you could pick up The Sims 3 pack, which includes seven separate bits of DLC as well and'll make you a massive saving of over £50! Killing zombies is always good fun, especially when you're doing it as part of a team, which is exactly what you'll be doing if you pick up Left 4 Dead 2, plus you'll save yourself over £6. Left 4 Dead's also on offer at the moment and you buy it in a pack along with the sequel for £5.74, which'll make you a saving of almost £18 in total! Snatching King's Bounty: Armoured Princess'll save you almost £6, however if you spend £2 more you can get two of its expansion pack as well. You can make a saving of just over £4 on The Killing Floor, or you can part with another £1.50 to get a load of character packs in addition to the game. Shooters are always good for wasting a bit of time, or relieving a bit of stress after work, so why not save yourself almost £2.50 on the next best offer and purchase Far Cry 2 from Steam, or you could throw in another £1 and get the original game too.

Swooping around Arkham Asylum as The Dark Knight is still an absolute blast and I find myself going back to it time and time again, so it'll be money well spent if you decide to give it a go and you'll save over £11 on the next best offer. Prototype gives you one or two powers to deal with your enemies and it's definitely worth checking out, particularly when you can save yourself almost £7.50. Finally, if you want something new to do in Grand Theft Auto IV, then why not pick up Episodes From Liberty City, which can save you almost £5 at the moment.
