Steam Summer Sale Highlights | Insurgency & Surgery

Some tasty deals today, both on big hitters and little indie sleeper hits.

Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition and ArmA III are both big bargains, joined by the LEGO Movie Videogame at a very reasonable £5.74. On the indie side of things, FTL Advanced Edition is an utterly stupendous thief of time (and a bargain with its massive bundled DLC pack at £2.79), while Surgeon Simulator provides gory laughs for £1.74.

If you're interested, my personal pick of the litter is Insurgency for £4.94, which is a great price for this cut-throat and ruthlessly authentic shooter. I didn't hesitate to deploy our Editor's Choice Award.

Even Nether isn't too awful at £2.19 -- but do read our 4/10 review before touching it. In fact, do read all of our reviews. What do you think those links lead to, exactly?!

Some serious bargains to be had here. Forced is a great co-operative puzzler disguised as a MOBA, while Awesomenauts is a MOBA and a good one at that. If you're ready for some major tapping, Magic 2014 is an utter steal at £1.74, while Hitman Absolution is absolutely cheap at a cheerful £2.99.
