Steam Summer Sale Update | 20th June: Zombies & Prisons

Steam's Summer Sale is actually taking its time to get up to speed, evidenced by another day of slightly uninspired offerings. However, zombie fans will be well away thanks to The Walking Dead: Season 2 for £9.49 and State Of Decay at a tasty £3.74. Very different games -- one's an incredibly grim yet compelling dialogue-driven adventure, while the other offers an intense real-time survival and management experience -- but both offer huge decisions to make. Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs is also a Steam steal at £3.37, even if the significantly scarier Outlast stole its thunder last year.

Fans of penal system management will also get a kick out of Prison Architect for £6.79, which is shaping up very nicely indeed in early access. If you can call prison simulation 'nice.'

RPG Maker VX starred in a recent Humble Bundles, so chances are you'll own it already if you were in the market, whereas shonky RPG Bound By Flame still feels expensive at £17.99.

You can see the deals in the banner above, and click here to hit up the splash page.

This is definitely the pick of the bunch. Great early impressions, loads of polished content, delightfully mad ship combat. Recommended and 50% off too.

I'm still debating about how best to format and run these updates.

Since the entire storefront is one click away, can be summed up in a single screenshot and instantly accessible via the client, there isn't much benefit to just posting a list of store page links, but it would certainly be easy.

What would you guys find most useful? Just straight links to the store pages, picking out a few highlights with links to our content or something in-between? Let me know!

Thanks for the updates :D

As Valve present the content so well, it's probably best to sum up the entire list of deals with the screenshot and just put links and commentary for the best picks while perhaps poking fun at the worst ;)

I like these updates. Nice to have a few words about the better deals/games.
