After making $174,804 off the back of their successful Kickstarter campaign, Born Ready Games have locked down space/mech sim Strike Suit Zero for a January 24th, 2013 release date on PC.
The "space action game" from the Guildford-based studio will ship with XedMod - a lightweight and unified version of the Xed development toolset used to create the game - since the first stretch goal was passed with flying colours. Users will be able to create and share missions and assets with the community.
“We are truly grateful for all the support we’ve received and above all else want to thank the community," said James Brooksby, CEO of Born Ready Games. "Their support has meant we’re now able to make the game we’d always envisioned, and we can't wait for our fans to get their hands on the game.”
As part of the Kickstarter campaign, Born Ready Games also offered exclusive PC beta access for the first thousand backers who pledged $50 or more. This closed beta is currently scheduled for early December. We'll let you know how Strike Suit Zero is shaping up soon.
