There aren't anywhere near enough arcade space sims on consoles, so naturally we're thrilled to hear that Strike Suit Zero is headed to PS4 and Xbox One in March.
Costing £14.99, this new version comes complete with a graphical overhaul, while taking "a year’s worth of comments and suggestions on board, directly addressing the points of our community and critics." In case you haven't heard of it, think space combat starring an epic transforming mech designed by the Appleseed Guy. Now wipe that drool off the keyboard, you mucky pup.
However, we hope that Born Ready games really have feedback to heart, because Strike Suit Zero never really delivered on its promise of "space combat reborn" on PC. The mechanics and visuals were absolutely spot-on, but the campaign relegated pilots into glorified babysitters and wasted its unique selling point, miring us in poorly-paced and somewhat derivative gameplay when we should have been revelling in bombastic mech action. We've got a new Director's Cut trailer below, and fingers crossed that Strike Suit Zero's obvious potential has finally been realised.
