Suda51: PS4 Cloud Gaming "Makes Me Horny"

Oh Suda. Never change.

Goichi "Suda51" Suda (Killer7, Shadows Of The Damned, Lollipop Chainsaw) has praised the PS4's cloud content delivery service, potentially allowing players to access games on a variety of devices, in his own irrepressible style.

“I think that in the future, cloud delivery will become totally commonplace,” he wrote in his Famitsu Magazine column [translated by EDGE]. “Social networking has certainly done that. To be able to play anywhere, on any device, with shared data – this will be an alluring new feature for games. You’ll have your own personal profile or ID that you can access from many different devices and enjoy your game from anywhere, in various different ways.

“That this play style will become a reality is futuristic enough. But in addition, cloud saving becoming standard practice is an evolution in itself. It will add new value and will surely result in new ways to play. Thinking about the future of this stuff and then constructing and outputting something appealing is our job as game designers, and from that challenge we can take new strength.

“And that makes me horny.”

Suda's also 'turned on' by the fact that Grasshopper Manufacture will be developing for the PS4. “Now we have to decide how to find our own victories within that and present games that express the Grasshopper world," he explained. "And that makes me horny again.”

Suda's comments echo similar sentiments from Avalanche Studios and Arkane, though neither studio admitted to being sexually aroused by the hardware. His latest project, Killer Is Dead, is slated for a summer launch on current-gen consoles.
