Good god! We're going to be getting a game before the US does! Nintendo have revealed that New Super Mario Bros. 2 will launch on 3DS August 17th in Europe, with the game dropping across the pond on August 19th.

The new game will apparently feature a heavy emphasis on gold coins, as Mario has seemingly turned into a bling-obsessed, wonga-grabbing fiend.
