Report: Superbot Hiring For PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Sequel

Despite failing to make a dent in the UK games charts, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale seems set for a sequel if Superbot Entertainment job ads are to be believed.

The adverts, found by NeoGAF member Nirolak, both explicitly ask for experience with fighting games and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

The Game Designer/Implementer applicant must possess “a near encyclopedic knowledge of modern games, with emphasis on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale”, with “knowledge of fighting games, their systems and mechanics a serious plus”.

The Art Director listing explicitly names the project in question. “A project such as PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, which by definition brings together elements ranging from an incredibly wide range of artistic styles, requires a strong and unifying vision to present a cohesive and polished product.”

It's likely that the project is in development for PS4/next generation Sony console, perhaps as a launch title for the next PlayStation system (pure conjecture on my part, but fan service alone would make it an attractive part of a console launch lineup).

Do you want or need a sequel to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale? Would you recommend the multiplayer madness to other PS3 owners? Drop us a line in the comments!
