Superbot Entertainment reckons that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be good for "hundreds of hours" of playtime, due to numerous challenges, trials and character-specific unlocks.
Lead game designer Seth Killian took to the PlayStation blog to discuss the upcoming Sony brawler, and dropped the following tidbit in the comments section:
“Beyond arcade mode with intros, endings, and rival cut-scenes for every character and all the multiplayer stuff, All-Stars has tons of interesting challenges and trials (both overall trials and character-specific stuff). Certainly it’s hundreds of hours of content there, and a very extensive set of unlocks, from titles, to taunts, to character-specific intro and outro moves, musical themes, badges, etc.”
It's great to see Superbot going big on Battle Royale, since it's one of a very small number of major Christmas exclusives for PlayStation platforms. Here's hoping that quantity will be matched by quality.
