Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D only £22

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is just £22 today, which is a fantastic price, especially if you're a new 3DS owner looking to bulk up your collection.

With the remake of Ocarina of Time being such a hit, we were eager to snap this one up too. Not so much for the 3D, more for the awesome game given an extra layer of polish. Seriously, N64 games do not look good on your TV nowadays. What better way to celebrate picking up the New 3DS model too. If you're yet undecided on buying one, be sure to check out Jon's New 3DS review.

Zelda Tri Force Heroes is £17.99 on 3DS

The price of The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes has been dropping nicely in recent weeks and we're glad to see it back to it's lowest price of £17.99.

This multiplayer focussed title allows three players, each controlling a different coloured Link to work together in a new Zelda adventure. Via online or local networks, players will take on bosses, solve puzzles and stack on top of each other to reach higher areas or perform special attacks. It could be a little dumbed-down compared to usual Zelda titles, but the co-op gameplay could be a good match for the series.

Nintendo 3DS XL with Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros. and Mario Golf: World Tour for £99

It might not contain the best games for the system, but this is still a fantastic bundle with two good games thrown in. Considering how both games mentioned are at least £20 each, it makes this offer great value. Do note that there is a chance that the items may be sent individually. Thanks to 1nternet @ HUKD!

Get Super Smash Bros. on 3DS for just £24.86

It's been a while since we've seen it fall to this price, but this listing works out as being almost £5 cheaper than the next best offer elsewhere. There's plenty of content to get through in this rather good looking 3DS port, but we do recommend that you own a 3DS XL as the controls could cause hand cramps. Because of this, we recommend you try the demo on the eShop first to avoid what could be uncomfortable play sessions! Thanks to FantasyDeals @ HUKD!

Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D on 3DS only £21.95

Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D on the 3DS is stubbornly lurking around the £3o mark on most sites, but we have a sweet £21.95 deal for you below.

While we think Majora's mask has aged a bit better, you should certainly give Ocarina a go if you've never played it. Take a look at Jon's review, or read the short version: As a 3DS game, it's utterly essential and really should have been a launch title. It's a fourteen year old killer app that'll serve up a feast of wonderment and whimsy, a magnificent masterpiece that has aged gracefully and looks better than it ever has before with some well worked portable considerations too. As an introduction to the phenomena that isOcarina of Time, though, knock a point off and head for the Virtual Console.

Get Mario Kart 7 on 3DS for just £13.20

With first party Nintendo titles somehow able to keep their value even years after their release, it makes this listing for Mario Kart 7 a rather excellent highlight. Not only is it a rare occurrence for the price to drop below £15, but it beats the next best offer by over the same amount. There's a good reason why it holds such value, though, as Mario Kart 7 is not only a find racer, but one of the best games on the 3DS to date. Definitely one to consider if you've bought a 3DS as a Christmas present this year and want to add a little something extra to the mix. Thanks to Ag2014 @ HUKD!

Zelda: A Link Between Worlds only £13.85 on 3DS

Well, that's certainly the lowest price we've posted for this one.

This long-awaited sequel proved to be quite a hit with the critics, including our very own Chris Hyde who scored the game a rather delicious 9/10.  At first, Link's latest adventure looks to be a familiar 2D affair, but there are various degrees of depth on offer. For example, Link can now explore multiple horizontal layers, leaping upwards towards the screen to reach higher areas. He can also flatten himself on walls like a painting to walk around corners when platforms are absent.

Nintendo Direct 12.11.15 Highlights | Twilights, Classics and Clouds

Last night’s Nintendo Direct had plenty of news for both 3DS and Wii U owners heading into Christmas, and while we didn’t get all the surprises we were expecting (no mention of Minecraft, for example) there was lots of talk about games coming early next year. The European stream, hosted by Satoru Shibata, kicked off by thanking fans for their kind words over the late Satoru Iwata, and promised that the Nintendo Direct shows would continue “delivering information directly to you.”

And it all kicked off with the HD remake many Zelda fans have been crying out for.

Nintendo Direct returns at 10pm GMT tonight - Find out how to watch it here

We haven't had one in quite some time, and we weren't even sure if they would return at all, but this evening Nintendo are broadcasting a brand new Nintendo Direct with updates on "upcoming Wii U and Nintendo 3DS releases." It's already been stated that there will be no news on the NX or on mobile titles, but that's not to say there won't be anything newsworthy. In fact, rumors are already circulating of one announcement that will be made this evening.

Pre-order Final Fantasy Explorers on 3DS for just £22.49

It's still over a month away, but this is the cheapest price for a copy of Final Fantasy Explorers thanks to the voucher code above (which, FYI, works with all pre-orders from Rice Digital.) With gameplay similar to that found in Monster Hunter, this instalment of the Final Fantasy series will have you fighting familiar foes from the franchise, and features the Job system so you can switch between skills as and when you need. You can also team up with other players thanks to the co-op functionality. Reviews from Japan earlier this year gave painted it in a good light, so we're optimistic about this one.

Get a Nintendo 2DS with Mario Kart 7 for just £49

Well, this is a hell of a deal to kick off the new week. You're effectively getting the console for around £35 when you consider that the cheapest price for a Mario Kart 7 download code is just over £15. While the wedge-like form factor makes it less portable, the 2DS is still capable of playing most of the 3DS' extensive library of excellent games. Perfect for those of you thinking about a certain day in under 2 months time. Cheers to FantasyDeals @ HUKD!

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes is out now on the 3DS and that price keeps on falling. You're looking at £21.99 today, but I imagine we'll be seeing it for under £20 on a regular basis in the next couple of weeks if you can hold out.

2DS console with Pokemon Omega Red or Alpha Sapphire & case for £79.99

With the 2DS console alone costing this much at most retailers, you're essentially getting the Pokemon game for free. Better yet, you can choose between the two limited edition 2DS units, which comes in transparent red or blue colours. These deals also comes with a carry case.

At such a cheap price, this is a great way to get in the world of 3DS gaming, albeit minus the 3D part. The 2DS has been a hit for parents too, as the lack of breakable hinges is handy if your child is a bit clumsy.

The first wave of Nintendo Selects 3DS titles hit their lowest price yet

We're still a week away from the budget range of 3DS titles hitting the shelves, but the price seems to be getting better by the day. Falling even further below the £15 mark, the titles on offer might not be to everyone's tastes, but there's no arguing how the budget range will be welcome to gamers who find expanding their 3DS library is a strain on the wallet. Here's the full list:
