Still not ready to jump into the current gen, but want some FPS action to tide you over? There's not much arguing with the value of this one at this price, really, even if the multiplayer servers aren't as populated as they used to be. Still, the campaign is a good distraction for a few hours, and certainly a challenge on higher difficulty settings. Plus, with Click & Collect being possible with this deal, it means you could make it a cheerful stocking filler if need be. Cheers to Buzz for the heads-up!

Black Friday is almost upon us, but that hasn't stopped deals like this one appearing early. While it doesn't come with a game, it is the cheapest for a 3DS console and is actually cheaper than the best offer for a 2DS at the time of writing. It's a mighty find saving overall, and it sets you up to be able to play a huge library of fantastic games for the handheld. Thanks to gooner for the heads-up!
When you take into account the cheapest deals for both of these titles, as well as how there's a £10 voucher thrown in this bundle, it actually works that you're paying just £200 for the console, which is a pretty good deal overall. Just scroll down to the Special Offers, select the deal at the checkout to get it for this price. If you must have two of the biggest releases this year as you jump into the current-gen (or even just to complete your console line-up) this is a great way of doing so. Cheers to Buzz for the heads-up!
This latest listing is the cheapest price we've seen for the game and its peripheral on current-gen consoles, beating the next best offer a tenner. While some argue that the in-game currency systems are a little convoluted, everything else about Guitar Hero Live hits the mark. Its rotating playlist of songs on GHTV mean there should be something new each week, and the truth is that the rhythm-matching gameplay is just as fun as it was during its initial hey-day. Thanks to madamsamual @ HUKD!
If you're in need of a decent headset for your PS4 that doesn't cost the earth, these from 4Gamers should do the trick. That said, if you're an Amazon Prime member you can take advantage of their price match, where it will only cost you £10.99 Capable of being used with the PS4 or the Vita, they feature a Fully adjustable padded headband with rotating ear cups, and an inline volume control unit with microphone. Cheers to Buzz for the heads-up!
We challenge anybody sat on the fence with the Nintendo Wii U to resist this beauty of an offer. At only £124.99 this is the lowest price we have seen the console available from a UK retailer (apart from the freak £99 flash offering from John Lewis last year).
Thanks for b_nar on HUKD for the tip off.
Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition is a fantastic package, containing two meaty match-3 RPGs and hours of quality content without a single microtransaction. Accessible, deep and involving, it's great for killing a few minutes or an entire evening at a time. - Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition Review | Perfect Match
As with all Argos deals the price is based on store collection or you can choose to have it delivered for £3.95. That wouldn't really make much sense however as it's £14.99 delivered from Base.com and £11.99 beats all previous deal entries we have seen by £3.
The Wii U is perfect for titles such as Scribblenauts Unlimited, using the Wii U's gamepad to produce creations from your own imagination give children and adults alike endless amounts of fun as they help Maxwell solve puzzles and challenges via his magical notepad.
The Wii U offers even more fun in Scribblenauts Unlimted. As well as stunning HD graphics, a new multiplayer mode lets a second player join the fun with a Wii remote, taking control of any object in the game to help with the puzzle solving.Click here to read more...
At the risk of becoming repetitive on every Borderlands deal I post, I can't help but mention just how brilliant they all are. Borderlands 2 is a masterpiece in my opinion which should be played, if not owned by everybody. Although Borderlands 2 on the Playstation Vita does unfortunately suffer with some major frame rate issues, were looking at £14.99 for one of my personal all time favourites, and it's portable!
"We wanted more. We wanted bigger. We wanted better, brasher, bolder and badasser. Borderlands 2 takes care of business." - Borderlands 2 Review | MOAR!
Although we have seen Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask hovering around this price quite often as of late, £4.98 is a great price and perfect timing for those upcoming school holidays. This purchase would obviously require you to click and collect given that Argos have that crazy set price for £3.95, which removes any potential for a deal.
LEGO Dimensions is scheduled for release on September 27th this year across a multitude of gaming platforms including Wii U, Xbox One and Playstation 4. Argos currently have listed the LEGO Dimensions Joker and Harley Team Pack on pre-order for only £14.99 which is an absolute bargain as the same item is around £28-£30 everywhere else.
Brendan gave us his thoughts on the new LEGO Dimensions model in the form of Lego Dimensions: how the magic of Lego could dethrone Skylanders which is definitely worth a read.
That title sure took some doing. To simplify things, this deal is for a Nintendo Wii U Premium Console with 5 games and contains:
If you were to ask me to answer honestly if I would take an old school Atari console over todays Xbox One or Playstation 4, my answer would very simply be: Yes.
The Atari Flashback 4 console includes 15 extra games as a successor to the Flashback 3 console:
The Bayonetta double pack consists of both Bayonetta & Bayonetta 2 holding tremendous value at £27.99 for the pair.
Bayonetta 2 is mechanically perfect, yet it is also a game that is stuffed with personality and wit and charm and an abundance of ideas and imagery and symbolism that its poor story cannot hope to make sense of or contain. But that's okay -- it is the finest game Platinum have ever made, and the best thing to grace the Wii U thus far. - Bayonetta 2 Review | Balletic, Bonkers, Brilliant
There are two reasons why people purchase things like the Nintendo Wii U Fit Meter, either they feel they have the deepest of intentions to actually use it, or they just want one and it ends up in kitchen drawer (yes DJ Hero and my Playstation Move I am looking at you!)
Funnily, it's delivered to your front door for that £7.99, so once you have effortlessly clicked 'Buy Now' you don't even have to get off the sofa to go get it. Brilliant.
The Playstation Portable is still a thing you know! If you have one hidden in the back of a drawer or somewhere else it really shouldn't be then I expect you to get it out, dust it off and inject some life into it for only £1 delivered.
I've made my point quite clear. It's LittleBigPlanet, it's a quid and it's delivered to your front door. You can't really ask for more than that.
Every console deserves a Mass Effect game and the Wii U is no different.
"The third and final entry in the Mass Effect trilogy is a stunning achievement. The combat systems are better than ever, the multiplayer hugely enjoyable, and there's a sense of scale and heightened emotion that drives everything. But it's the excellent pacing and wonderful writing that rings out, providing us with some of the most memorable moments in videogaming, sadly undone completely by an ending that no-one - neither players, nor (most importantly) the characters themselves - deserves." - Mass Effect 3 Review | Reaping What You Sow (8/10).

Update: This promotion has now gone live on the Argos website.
Starting tomorrow (27/05) you will have full control over purchasing a Playstation 4 console, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, 3 months Playstation Plus and as a simple token of gratitude from Argos they are happily throwing a £10 Argos gift card in your direction.
It's a no brainer. Simply for the fact that if you don't have a Playstation 4 then this is a must have purchase, purely for The Witcher 3. Of course the 3 months PS+ and the Argos voucher are an added sweetner but a Playstation 4 with The Witcher 3 is all anybody needs in their lives at the moment. Case closed.
Full credit to FD on HUKD for the tip off.
Just check out that title!
For £199.99 you are getting:

We love Wii U games. What better console knows how to get the family (or friends) together for some seriously colourful fun?
