With a 90% drop in price todays Steam daily deal gives us the awesome Awesomenauts for only 69p!
The awesome guys over at Steam have also decided to slash the pricing of the DLC for Awesomenauts:
There are 44 DLC items in total reduced so head over to Steam and grab what you need before the prices rise back up (totally not awesome!)
Well, that was quick. Barely a week after launching a crowd-funding campaign for a new Awesomenauts expansion pack, Ronimo Games have managed to smash through their target and start looking at stretch goals. Look at them, so happy in their party hats. Aww.
I'm referring to a video update that we've stashed after the break. Awesomenauts: Starstorm promises a number of new characters, levels and features, and is now happening. More details and the full pitch are available on Kickstarter itself.Click here to read more...

Humble Bundle have excelled themselves here with one of the best indie compilations I've seen in months. Any price will net you the excellent Little Inferno, Awesomenauts, Capsized, Thomas Was Alone and Dear Esther, which would be an utter steal by themselves. Yet if you beat the average, you'll also get the sensational Hotline Miami and Proteus.
You really, really, need to get on this. Unless you already own them all, that is.
A year has passed since colourful cartoony MOBA Awesomenauts came out, so Ronimo Games are keen to show just how far they've come. The character roster has more than doubled from 6 to 13 over the last twelve months, and another new addition to the roster is upcoming in the form of fan-designed Admiral Swiggins.
Happy birthday, Awesomenauts. Here's to another great year (and another cheap sale couldn't hurt either).Click here to read more...
The second barrage of deals from Steam’s latest sale are not much to write home about at first glance, but head into the Indie Sale (away from the front page) and you’ll find some cracking deals. We’ve got the highlights below, but here’s an honorary mention to Arma II: Combined Operations, which falls to £12.49 should you wish to join in the Day Z madness.
This may not be as good a deal as Gamersgate’s offer earlier in the month in terms of content, but for those looking for just the base game it’s certainly worth a look. A saving of a fiver isn’t too shabby either.
One of last year’s stand out strategy titles, Frozen Synapse takes turn-based strategy to a new level. Best of all, you get two copies of the game with each purchase so you can go halves with a friend or gift it away.
Rightly crowned Dealspwn's favourite FPS of last year, the return of the Serious One was an explosive and over-the-top experience that was just pure mindless fun. Considering the saving is fairly substantial, you should seriously consider this one.
Finally, we have a deal for Romino’s brawly MOBA title. If you missed out on Gamersgate’s recent bundle offer, here’s another chance to get hold of a copy for under £2.50.
Steam are currently running a free weekend for Awesomenauts, and have slashed the price of Ronimo's excellent brawly MOBA down to half price.
However, GamersGate are willing to give you three copies for £6.99, which works out at £2.33 per copy. If you've got two mates to chip in with, this is definitely the way to go. You'll even get a Steam code.
Awesomenauts is a fun, frantic and irrepressably personable MOBA, and its PC version is the definitive edition. It's currently being discounted across the board with most sites willing to knock £1.50 off the £6.99 asking price... but the developers have undercut everyone themselves with a $6.99 sale. The difference between the "£" and "$" saves you an extra £1.18, and your money will go directly to the devs.
After a successful Awesomenauts PC launch, Ronimo has announced a new free character update for their zany MOBA. Gnaw is a nasty piece of work, a dirty doglike creature who likes to bite and spit poisonous ooze on his foes. Trained by Cosmic biker pirates, he is a devious little monster, as you'd rightly expect. The update is "coming soon."
Awesomenauts players can now download a free patch that adds two new characters: the psycho-electric Coco Nebulon and mech-suited Derpl Zork. The update also addresses some balance and connectivity issues. I'd elaborate, but the trailer covers all the relevant details in true Ronimo style - check it out after the break.
Ronimo's colourful and accessible MOBA will also soon be available on Steam, for PC and Mac.Click here to read more...
The PlayStation store has a couple of tasty treats for us today in the form of DOTA-inspired Awesomenauts and the delayed release of phenomenal fighter Skullgirls. They're both great choices, and well worth a look if you're a fan of either genre. Frobisher Says! is also now freely available to download on PS Vita, in case you didn't receive it as a pre-order bonus. And, to top things off, the original Max Payne has also made its PSN debut, weighing in at £7.99. More details and pricing info are available over on the EU PlayStation Blog.
There's also a big sale to celebrate the reveal of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, though the quality of the savings is a little hit and miss. Highlights include the original Twisted Metal at £2.39 and Fat Princess at a delicious £3.99, but beware that several of these titles are cheaper elsewhere. We've got more details below.

The Multiplayer Online Battle Arena is nearly here, and a new Awesomenauts trailer is in, this time showing off the splitscreen modes. In a game where two teams of three square off against one another with plenty of bizarre and zany special abilities and weapons, it's good to know that you can leap onto the couch with two other mates and engage in a spot of local action too.Click here to read more...
