Batman BATB

Ok, ok, I know it's not Arkham Asylum, but if you're a fan of the cartoon series then you might want to check out Batman: The Brave And The Bold. Think beat em up crossed with a platform game and you should get a pretty good idea of what the gameplay's like. It's just a shame it's not that great and it's a bit too easy. The price isn't bad though and it'll save you nearly £2 on the next best offer coming in from My Memory.

The Nintendo Wii seems like the ideal home for a game based on the fun and popular Cartoon Network series Batman: The Brave and The Bold, but while the result of this partnership is an awfully stylish game, filled with good humour, unfortunately it is seriously lacking in terms of level design and gameplay. It's a platformer/beat 'em up crossover with features plenty of repetition and not a whole lot of innovation. It's also pretty easy and so, with little replay value on offer, you may find the entire experience is over very quickly. Fun in small doses and a worthwhile purchase at this price but settle down with it for a few hours and you may find yourself very bored. Thanks to mrtim at HUKD!

Batman The Brave and the Bold £13.99 Gameplay Wii [photo]

Popular Cartoon Network series Batman: The Brave and the Bold and the Nintendo Wii seem like natural partners and the resulting game is oozing with style and good humour but is sadly let down by the gameplay and level design. It's a mixture between platformer and beat 'em up and offers nothing new to either genre but certainly serves up plenty of repetition. You can have fun with it if you play in small doses but try to tackle the game in one go and you will probably find yourself awfully bored and/or irritated by the incredibly samey gameplay. Furthermore it's just a bit too easy and there's little replay value so it could all be over way too quickly. Thanks to Rhys135 at Hotukdeals!
