Alien: Isolation only £9.99 on PS4/XO

Alien: Isolation Ripley Edition is super cheap today on PS4 for just £9,99. You can get the Nostromo Edition for the same price on Xbox One.

Alien: Isolation has been a big success. The pulse rifles and dodgy AI have been ditched for a pure survival horror experience that sees you constantly fleeing from the alien by hiding under tables or in lockers and so on. Sure, it can get a little repetitive, but this is till the best Aliens game in years.

Updated Witcher 3 deals see PS4 price drop again

Slightly cheaper than the deal I posted at 1am today you can now order a PS4 copy for just £22. We're surely looking at a hot contender for Game of the Year here. Find out why.

There's a lot of free DLC to download right now, and the expansions are looking like great value for money as I discussed here: Are Fallout 4 and Witcher III a turning point for Season Passes? The game picked up one of our Editor's Choice awards in my review: "While the decidedly average combat and alarming number of technical gremlins are disappointing for a title that's been in development for so long, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is still a must-buy title for genre fans. The Northern Kingdoms is vast and beautiful setting, packed with unique adventures and touching tales that you'll find away from the beats of the main story. A title to truly lose yourself in."

Lego Jurassic World only £22.86 on PS4

Lego Jurassic World is bound to be a much-requested movie this Christmas, but this game will last much longer. £22.86 is one of the best deals we've seen in a while for the PS4 version. You're looking at at least £27 elsewhere.

There are some infuriating bugs in Lego Jurassic World, especially Trophies not pinging for player two or invisible QTE buttons, but there's well other 30 hours of game here with the inclusion of action from all four movies. Don't expect much innovation, but Telltale have done a great job of giving a Lego makeover to memorable scenes from all the movies. Take a look at my Lego Jurassic World review for more.

Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition only £26 on PS4

This new version of Destiny is packed with value as it includes the base game, the original Season Pass expansion content (House of Wolves and The Dark Below) as well as the new expansion The Taken King. Today's sale price is comfortably cheaper than the competition too. Amazon are selling the PS4 version for just £26.

There are some radical changes to the way the XP system works in Destiny too when The Taken King arrives. Essentially, the annoying Light system that forced you to equip certain items if you wanted the level boost is being replaced with something similar to the way you levelled up on the way to Lv.20. These are exciting times and it looks like Bungie are making a solid effort at bringing lapsed players back and giving them all the content in this edition seems like a smart move as it's only about £10-£15 more than the base game now. If you want to know more about Destiny's changes and what they mean for players, check out Carl's Destiny: The Taken King review.

Mad Max on PC hits its lowest price yet

While PS4 owners can still get a copy for £23.85, PC gamers can get an absolute steal with this deal thanks to the voucher code above. It's the lowest price we've seen for Mad Max, and beats the next best offer by a fair margin. While the opinion among industry critics has been split, gamers everywhere have been raving over Avalanche Studios open-world title. With vehicular combat, car customisation, RPG upgrades, and hand-to-hand scraps in the wasteland, it will will no doubt keep you busy for a while. Not bad for under £8, I'd say. Cheers to udhuk @ HUKD!

Tearaway: Unfolded only £14.97 on PS4

Tearaway was one of the finest titles on the PS Vita and we're delighted to see the game given a PS4 remix, if not a little sad we're not getting a Vita sequel. This deal is the cheapest price yet.

Here's a sample of my review: Tearaway Unfolded has found a new home on the PS4 and contains plenty of new ways to use the DualShock 4 for unique in-game interactions. It's still worth owning if you've played the Vita version too. Difficulty is nicely balanced for players of all abilities and there are lots of collectibles for completionists to find.

Rise of the Tomb Raider from £24.99 on XO

You can now get a used copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider for just £24.99. The same site has it on offer for £29.99 new, which is cheaper than anywhere else.

[UPDATE: Zavvi have the game in stock at £27.99 new]

Lara's latest adventure is another fantastic entry in the series. The world is bigger than the last game too and there are many more optional tombs to explore. The story is pretty poor, but there's no faulting the action as you're generally free to approach combat with all guns blazing, or opt for a stealthier approach.

Bought an Xbox One, but just want to play old games? Well, you may as well play through some old favourites with Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which is now available for £17.86 via the voucher code below.

This collection includes the Anniversary editions of Halo and Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4. Add in a 60 frames per second makeover and multiplayer modes that involve over 100 maps. Mmm, that's a lot of maps. The multiplayer has been a bit inconsistent online so far, but a massive update has fixed most of the issues, so maybe it's finally safe to get involved.

PES 2016: Day One Edition only £19.95 on Xbox One

PES 2016 (or Pro Evolution Soccer) is out now and is a fine alternative to FIFA 16. Better yet, this Xbox One deal is miles cheaper than the best deals for EA's game.

Try the demo first if you like. The critics have been largely favouring Konami's latest over FIFA though. Unlike FIFA, PES doesn't have an inexplicable Jordan Henderson appearance on the front cover. It's the little things.

The PS4 version has held its price fairly well, so this deal is definitely worth highlighting. Until Dawn only £18.49

It's ridiculously expensive going to the cinema nowadays and there hasn't been a decent horror film in ages. Instead, you'd be much better off spending the money on a copy of Until Dawn, it's one of the best PS4 games of the year.

Not sure? Then check out my Until Dawn review. This interactive horror movie is heaps of fun and packed with moments that'll have you and anyone watching jumping out of their skin. Being able to kill off characters you don't like is more fun than you'll want to admit. You'll definitely want to play it more than once too to put the cast through hell again and again.

Two retailers - one price - no arguement that it's a bargain. It's the cheapest we've seen for the post-apocalyptic RPG, and absolutely worth it at this price. Our review is oh-so-close, but the short of it is that it's a huge, wonderful open world that will steal hours away from your life. Seriously, for under £30 you'd be mad to miss this if you like your RPGs. Cheers to oUkTuRkEyIII & Raz @ HUKD!

PlayStation 1 console wallet back in stock at £9.99

This neat retro PS1-themed wallet sold out super quick last time we posted it, so don't dawdle if you want one. This is also the cheapest price I've ever seen it go for.

The original PlayStation's design lends itself rather well to a wallet design with a bi-fold button-snap flap where the disc cover would be. Inside you'll find a fold for cash, a zipped coin compartment and a few jagged slots for cards, giving you a decent view of what's what rather than a mere slice at the top. It looks like there are some slip compartments underneath the cards and coin areas too. Now, let's see someone do something for the PS2, Xbox and GameCube please.

Binary Domain is a must-buy at £3 on PS3

For less than the price of two pints there are hours of fun to be had here with Sega's third-person shooter on PS3 via PSN.

The futuristic setting sees you take on a robotic army consisting of basic grunts as seen above and giant mecha-spiders. The procedural damage that each bullet inflicts is a gun nut's joy to behold as you tear chunks of metal from the enemy with each shot. You get to boss around a squad too, including a French robot. Don't ask, just get stuck in.
