It's day two of the Gamesplanet Summer Sale with some fantastic savings on titles such as Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition, Tomb Raider, Max Payne and some classic Monkey Island titles.
I don't need to tell you all how brilliant both Borderlands and Borderland 2 are. Both games provide hours of fun and entertainment equally, and at only £2.44 each are an absolute steal.
You will need to use code 'pcgames5off' to knock a massive 5% off the listed price. You're alright laughing, but 5% is 5%.
We wanted more. We wanted bigger. We wanted better, brasher, bolder and badasser. Borderlands 2 takes care of business. - Borderlands 2 Review | MOAR!

Prices listed below are before use of code 'GMGSUM-MERSAL-E20OFF' which will very cleverly knock off 20%. Bargain.

It's always much easier writing about deals that really need no introduction. Borderlands double pack from Tesco Direct is only £3.70 on Xbox 360.
For anybody who has been living under a rock for some considerable time:
"Fans of both loot grinders and hectic shooters will be in seventh heaven with Borderlands and will be able to enjoy the experience solo and with other players. However, most others will need to seek out company in order to fully enjoy what it brings to the table. Either way, Borderlands is a capable FPS with simple and accessible MMO elements that will still be relevant many months down the line." - Borderlands Review: Shoot and Loot (8/10)
"We wanted more. We wanted bigger. We wanted better, brasher, bolder and badasser. Borderlands 2 takes care of business." - Borderlands 2 Review | MOAR! (9/10)
Credit to KoopaDuckie on HUKD for the tip off.
[UPDATE: The 360 version is available at Tesco for £5 while stocks last.]
This PS3 or Xbox 360 Borderlands Collection includes the first two games for just £6.95.
While lacking the expansion DLC content provided by the individual Game of the Year editions, this is still tremendous value for money as Borderlands 2 alone is generally around the same price as this collection. Gearbox's cel-shaded FPS series is more of an RPG take on the genre, which has been adored by millions since launch. Newbies should note that these games are much more enjoyably when played online if you don't want to face a lonely grind. Get involved!

Not content with The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, Telltale Games have announced two new tie-ins based on the Game Of Thrones and Borderlands licenses.
No, not a Game Of Thrones x Borderlands crossover. Let's not be silly.
Both episodic series are in very early development, and built around Telltale's trademark focus on choice and character development. We've got trailers below... though our rabid excitement is tempered with a note of caution.Click here to read more...
Borderlands will be blasting onto iOS this month in the form of Borderlands Legends, a mobile-optimised experience that features thousands of weapons, randomised missions and characters from the original game. Oh, and something called a "strategic cover stystem." Uh...right.Click here to read more...
Today's thief of time comes courtesy of Gearbox, who have released a browser-based Borderlands arcade shooter that you can go play right here. Despite being an arena shooter a la Smash TV, the 16-Bit 'demake' still packs four Borderlands 2 classes, level upgrades and plenty of boomsticks to point at some familiar enemies.
Goodbye productivity, hello Skags.
If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, I'm afraid that there's little chance of you getting anything done this month. Sony has added two massive sandboxes to the Instant Game Collection: enormous island-hopping Just Cause 2 and Gearbox's modern classic Borderlands.
Remember that Red Dead Redemption will be added to the collection in September, and that cloud storage is set to increase to a whopping Gigabyte.
We've long stopped trying to hide our excitement for Borderlands 2. Every time we preview it or interview key personnel, Gearbox's upcoming FPSRPG reveals new features, bigger guns and more insane characters. However, after getting to grips with a brand new build last week, we yearned to know more: how will the new persistent Badass Ranking system work? Will Borderlands 2 launch on Wii U? As much as anything, will we get a decent ending this time?!
So who better to ask than the co-founder of Gearbox, Chief Creative Officer and Borderlands 2 executive producer Brian Martel? Tracking him down in a pub close to the hands-on preview event, I proceeded to quiz him over a swift half.
Jonathan Lester (Dealspwn): When the original Borderlands was in development, a number of pundits and analysts reckoned that you were entirely mad - that you were "sending it to die." As it turned out, you kicked their asses: critics and players loved Borderlands. So, how does it feel to be working on the sequel?
Brian Martel (Gearbox): It feels amazing. Look, this is something that we're extremely passionate about. We love this franchise: it's a great world to play around in. We're shooter people at our core and we really love Role-Playing games, so mixing the two has been really fun.

According to Gearbox co-founder Brian Martel, Borderlands 2 will offer its players a "decent," "compelling reward" as an end-game finale - and Gearbox have learned some valuable lessons from the "tentacles and disappointment" of the original.Click here to read more...
It’s day 3 in the big summer sale, and it’s all change for the nine offers on the front page. We’ve got the highlights of today’s listings for you below.
The open world zombie FPS was met with a mixed response upon its release, but it’s hard to argue at the value of today’s price cut. The DLC is also on offer, and the 4-pack currently works out at just over a fiver a copy, so there are plenty of purchasing options in regards to this one.
We’ve seen plenty of deals like this one in the past, with so much crammed into the bundle it really is hard to ignore. Please be aware that the standard version of the game is also priced at £4.99, so make sure you’re selecting the GOTY Edition to put in your basket to avoid much rage later on.
One of the stand-out titles of last year, Frozen Synapse is one of the best turn-based strategy games the genre has to offer. This price would be great value for just one copy, but you actually get two with every purchase so you can take the battle online with a friend.
And finally, more Indie Bundle fun. Today’s games are BIT.TRIP BEAT, Braid, Bunch of Heroes, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, and Runespell: Overture.
If you missed yesterday's deals, you have until tomorrow morning to take advantage of them. To see the rest of today's deals, along with all the other offers currently in the sale, head over to Steam's front page here.
Borderlands 2 will feature a much more robust cosmetic character editing suite, letting players equip their avatars with different skins, costumes and facial types. According to a new promotional poster (below), players of the original Borderlands will unlock exclusive heads and skins to use in the sequel.
I'd love to tell you lots more about Borderlands 2, but you'll sadly have to wait until Friday. Until then, might I suggest checking out our two-part Borderlands 2 hands-on preview, interview with art director Kevin Duc and E3 2012 Assassin/Commando preview?Click here to read more...
Roses are rubbish. Choccies are cliché. This is the 21st century, people, and the world of gaming has provided us with infinitely more meaningful presents to proffer to our significant others on this Hallmark holiday.
That being said, the course of true love never did run smooth... and it's very easy to get things apocalyptically wrong. Therefore, as Dealspwn's resident doctor of lurve (my diploma is in the post, shut up), it's my duty to sum up the very best and worst gaming gifts out there. There's no need to thank me. It's my job. It's what I do. Just knowing that I've brought a little more love into the world is reward enough.
A hardcore strategy game might seem like a bizarre choice for a romantic present, but you'd be dead wrong. Each purchase gives you two codes, so in between breathlessly fragging each other (read that again, you sick puppy), you can stay connected and swap sweet nothings in an exclusive social network.
What's more, you can always pretend that you let your partner win for extra brownie points... even though they kicked your arse fair and square.Click here to read our (slightly risqué) Valentines Day special >>
Gearbox concept designer Scott Kester has talked of the studio's apprehension when it came to redesigning certain things in Borderlands in order to make it a distinctive title, going to say that the focus of this sequel is to create 'something worthy of the original.'Click here to read more...
We're big fans of Gearbox's wacky co-operative shooter Borderlands here at Dealspwn. Between the randomly generated weaponry, glowing loot drops, dune-buggies and fantastically named villains, it snagged a respectable 8 from Jon. We've long hoped Gearbox might announce a sequel, but for the past year or so they've been far too busy getting Duke out the door. However, according to a Eurogamer source, Borderlands 2 might be closer than you think.Click here for more
