Star Wars 1313 Concept Art Shows The Boba Fett Adventure That Might Have Been

Star Wars 1313 fell under the rails of the Disney Lucasarts buyout earlier this year, which proved to be rather disappointing since the gritty adventure was looking decidedly promising. Then we learned that it was going to star Boba Fett and promptly started crying like the Mandalorian fanboys we are.

To rub salt in the wound, artist Gustavo Mendonca has now published some concept art of the game, which gives us an idea of what the shooter might - might - have offered. We've rounded up some of the most eyecatching images below.

BioWare Concept Artist Shows Us What Tali’s Face Could Have Looked Like…

Along With Evolution Of Other Mass Effect / Dragon Age Designs

To say a number of people were not exactly happy with the way BioWare handled the reveal for Tali’s appearance in Mass Effect 3 is a bit of an understatement, but some recently released concept art from BioWare artist Matt Rhodes gives us an idea of what Tali could have looked like had BioWare not gone with a stock photo of a model. In a post on his official blog, Rhodes shows how he evolved the design for many of the iconic characters from BioWare’s most recent franchises, giving us insight into his design process and allowing us to see some of the ideas that ultimately didn’t make it into the final product. A word of warning though – the blog is incredibly spoiler heavy to both Mass Effect and Dragon Age games.

Dark Souls 2 Concept Art Is Dark, Soulful

A bountiful harvest of Dark Souls 2 concept art has found its way online, showing off some of the twisted monsters, powerful gear and haunting environments we might encounter in the anticipated sequel. From Software have confirmed that Dark Souls 2 will be set in a different time period to the original, and will make pains to be more "understandable" to new players, but will still retain its ferocious difficulty.

REPORT: Bungie's Destiny "Social At Its Core"

Well this is interesting. Apparently someone pinged a rather tasty document over to the folks at IGN, leaking story details and concept art for Bungie's forthcoming follow-up to the Halo franchise following their split from Microsoft.

According to this document, it would appear that Bungie are looking to create a more accessible game, designed to appeal to a broader range of demographics than perhaps Halo did.

Hitman 6 Concept Art Hits The Net
Square Enix Montreal are getting stuck into the next Hitman game, having appropriated some of IO Interactive's franchise veterans, and have revealed a couple of pieces of concept art Montreal International Game Summit. Amazingly, these two pieces were painted live at the summit by art director Rasmus Poulsen and senior concept artist Leonid Enyne.

IO Interactive recently suggested that Square Montreal's game will offer a "fresh perspective" on the series and characters, which certainly seems to be the case if these pics are anything to go by.

RUMOUR: New Rayman Game Outed By Leaked Shots

An anonymous tipster has presented Kotaku with a number of images that seem to point towards a new Rayman title. The concept art slides, allegedly retrieved via a marketing survey from Arkenford (of whom Ubisoft is a regular major client) provide some action stills with Ubisoft's limbles mascot there for all to see, and some potentially revealing text.

First Wasteland 2 Concept Art Emerges

InXile have just released the first bit of concept art for Wasteland 2, thanks to Andree Wallin, with the picture in question (see above) designed "to help us establish the look and feel of the Desert Rangers", according to Brian Fargo.

There's still a week left to contribute to the Kickstarter project, and news trickled in that Obsidian would be joining the fray too, with Chriss Avellone pledged to help out after the campaign passed the $2.1 million mark. At the time of writing, the figure sits on $2,245,125.

Concept Art Appears For Canned Insomniac Pinball Game

Insomniac Games have thrown up a folder of concept art shots from their canned pinball game - 1080Pinball - a game originally intended to be the "the most realistic pinball simulation ever (including simulating weight of ball, gravity, and friction of table surface, as well as accurately modeling the 'kick bumpers')".

Apparently the planned digital release was also supposed to have incorporated a "Gran Turismo" level of progression, but the project was canned mid-way through 2007.
