Looks like chocolate's not the only thing you should be buying this Easter, there are some pretty tasty Xbox 360 slim deals over at Game. You can get a 250 Gb console with Kinect for £219.98, which'll save you around £10 over picking them up separately. The other 250 Gb consoles come with games; grabbing one with Halo Reach'll save you almost £8; one with Forza 3 Ultimate Edition'll save you almost £2; and one with Fable 3'll save you almost £10. Happy shopping! Thanks to Sholeo @ HUKD.
News may have started leaking out about the next entry in the Forza series, but you can get hold of the latest instalment for £5.99 thanks to Amazon. It’s also just under £6 cheaper than TheHut, which makes it quite the attractive deal for the petrol heads amongst you. Add on top of this the extra Top Gear themed content you get packaged with the main game, which includes extra cars along with a video from the show, and you can’t argue with the good value of this one. Be sure to check out Jon’s review if you’re still unsure! Thanks to nook360 @ HUKD!
Cracking deal here for motorsport enthusiasts, with Gamestation slashing the price of Forza 3 Ultimate Edition to just £6.99. Jon's review above should be enough to whet your appetite, but Forza is the definitive racing simulator. On the 360, at least - steady on GT5 fans! It has an insane roster of cars from a variety of manufacturers, engines and parts to play around with, an exciting career mode and fantastic multiplayer options. Looks pretty nice, too.
Amazon have lowered their price for the ultimate edition of Forza 3 yet again, providing a massive heap of content for just over a tenner. Forza Motorsport 3 is one of the best racing games on the market (and certainly the finest straight racer on the Xbox 360); providing a wealth of cars, tracks and driving assists that can tune the experience for any ability or tastle. Speaking of tuning, the insane potential for car customisation puts even GT5 to shame. Forza 4 was announced at this year's VGAs- but this will more than tide you over until it arrives.
Forza Motorsport 3 is the best pure racer on the Xbox 360. It doesn't promote enormous explosions and ridiculous airborne stunts, but it does offer loads of cars . A staggered selection of driving assists allow the experience to be as hardcore or as arcadey as you fancy. The Ultimate Edition (released 29th October) contains a load of DLC cars, tracks and some Top Gear goodies (including a 90 minute Top Gear video and some Stig-themed additions). This brings the total up to 500 cars and 100 track configurations.
