Get Grand Theft Auto V on PC for just £20.79

By using the voucher code above, you can get hold of GTA V for one of the lowest prices we've seen. At the time of writing, it beats the next best offer elsewhere by around a fiver. PC gamers may have had to wait for it, but they ended up getting the definitive version of GTA V as a result. With improved visuals and AI behavior, along with Rockstar Editor's easy to use machinima tools (not to mention the modding community's awesome / ridiculous contributions) it really is the complete package. Thanks to Moonky @ HUKD!

Massive GTA Online Freemode update now live

Still playing Grand Theft Auto V online? Well, if you're playing on PS4, Xbox One or PC, prepare for a massive update to the Freemode Events via Rockstar's latest content drop. Sadly, last-gen versions won't be getting this new content. Actually they won't be getting anything else again, which is makes that STILL high-price of the new-gen version all the more annoying.

There's a full rundown courtesy of Rockstar's newswire below. But there's also a trailer if you just want to see some of it in action.

Celebrate Independence Day with double rewards & new events in GTA Online

Us Brits aren't taught much about Independence Day in school, but from what I gather, it's a huge celebration of that excellent Will Smith movie that grips the US every year with fireworks and festivities.

I kid, of course. You can join the fun in GTA Online from now until the 6th of July with doubled rewards.

Grand Theft Auto V PC Review | The big score

It’s a good job I hadn’t finalised my review until now. Had I drawn a line under my experience last week my opinions would have been very, very different. You see, it has only been in the last 72 hours that the PC port of Grand Theft Auto V has shown me its strengths. It’s beautiful, beautiful strengths. Up until that point the experience in San Andreas has definitely been a good looking, but had been marred by frame rate drops that killed the enjoyment both in the single player campaign and in GTA Online.

Thankfully, those issues have been sorted, and I can now comfortably say that the PC version really is the definitive version of GTA V.

As someone who last played the game on their Xbox 360, the jump in performance has been significant even without touching the 4K visuals that Rockstar have added. Then again, I didn’t really have to state that – there are videos out there that highlight this is the case, but seeing it in action for myself really hammers home how much work has gone into this version of the game. Of course, the big question is if the PC version is worth getting if you’ve previously played the game, and I aim to answer that by the end of this review.

Game Night | Grand Theft Auto Online - Better With Water Cannons
For this week's episode of Game Night, the trio return to the stomping grounds of Grand Theft Auto Online.

Originally, there was a plan to meet up, rob a few stores, do a few races and perhaps a deathmatch or two. What actually happened was... well, not that. Witness as the team create yet another sport, use the emergency services in a not-as-intended manner, and generally cause havoc on the streets of Los Santos.

COMMENT | GTA Online and the Trappings of Tandem Tourism

I don't like going travelling on my own. I'm not saying that solo travel can't be fun at all, but just that in my general experience, I much prefer going along with a friend or partner. It's not a fear factor thing. I'm a large, imposing fellow; I can muddle through one or two European languages; and I have a relatively decent sense of direction. In short, I'm pretty confident I can handle myself if things go awry. No, it's more to do with anecdotes, camaraderie, and shared memories. It might say something about me on a psychological level, but I find there to be a greater solidity and validity in shared memories.

I say this because I seem to be having much more fun with the broken, botched, bloated beginnings of GTA Online than I had with the singleplayer game.

It doesn't really make a huge amount of sense. After all, there's actually currently less to do in GTA Online than there is in GTA V itself. There are huge chunks of promised gameplay bits and pieces -- *cough* heists -- that are completely absent, and the game gates off certain missions, activities, and interesting ways of making money until you've progressed up the ranks a bit.

After yesterday's less-than-successful attempts to liberate some money, Carl & Matt try once again with a new and frankly brilliant plan. That said, as you'll see in today's episode of Dealspwn Playthrough, it all escalated rather quickly.
