Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB PCI-Express 3.0 graphics card with two free games for £259.99

In the market for a new graphics card? This deal from Dabs is certainly worth a look, as it beats the next best price by around £20. Considering the power you get, there's fantastic value for money at this price, but it's made even better by the fact you get two free games. The first is Grand Theft Auto V, which is great because the PC version really is the definitive release, but the second free game is none other than Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which releases tomorrow. That's around about a £40 saving overall compared to the cheapest deals for both titles, which makes a good deal an ever better bargain. Thanks to fluffykitty79 @ HUKD!

PC Gaming on a Budget: How to build a capable gaming rig for under £540

PC gaming doesn't have to be expensive, as long as you know what you are looking for. For those that aren't tech savvy, the endless combinations of components can be quite daunting. Trying to figure out which components will work with which, as well as making sure the end result will give you a decent gaming experience can prove a little too much for some.

Which is why I have put together a list of compatible components together for you, that will tackle some of the latest games at 45/60 frames per second at 1080p! Even on some of the most demanding games available today on their higher settings. There are lots of combinations I could use for this, although on this occasion I have chosen to go with a PC based around an AMD FX6300 CPU, it’s well equipped for gaming and comes in at a very affordable price point.

PC gamers doubtlessly have the drop on their console brethren when it comes to accurately squeezing off headshots thanks to the enhanced precision of a mouse over a gamepad- and Mad Catz have upped their ante with their Modern Warfare 2 branded Sniper mouse. Opinions are divided about whether the bells and whistles actually... but no-one can deny that Amazon are currently offering an excellent deal for the peripheral. They're retailing at £9.47, which will save you a whopping £15.38 compared to ShopTo.

The MW2 Sniper Mouse is a nifty piece of kit with a number of built-in gimmicks and features. A selectable DPI switch allows gamers to alter the sensitivity on-the-fly in order to deliver the perfect headshot or quickly rotate to face an opponent, and removable weights let us tailor the heft in order to suit our particular needs. The braided cable offers 'latency-free' movement and the bundled software allow various commands to be mapped to the buttons using macros. It certainly won't turn a good gamer into a great gamer... and some of these features seem a little gimmicky... but hey, it's a dedicated gaming mouse with an official license for less than a tenner. This has to be worth a look.

As I said in the introduction, the jury's out on whether this peripheral actually delivers an improved gaming experience... but if you want one, this is a fantastic deal that's well worth taking advantage of.

Thanks to aScottishBloke at HotUKDeals- both for finding the deal and tipping us off!
