Grand Theft Auto V's PC version is superb, but there's always room for improvement. Like whalesGravity guns. Rifles that fire cars instead of bullets. Yes, mods are a huge boon for PC gamers, but unfortunately have led to a number of reports of players being banned for using them.

Consider it open season for mods now, then, seeing as Rockstar has confirmed that you won't eat a ban for modding the singleplayer portion of the game.

Rockstar Social Club: were they hacked? What should you do?

We're currently getting stuck into Grand Theft Auto V on PC, not to mention its magnificent video editor, but over the last few days we've heard some worrying reports that several Rockstar Social Club members have been losing control of their accounts. It didn't take long for the internet to cry "hack!" especially seeing as a list of emails and passwords eventually found their way online in a plain text document.

More information is available and Rockstar have spoken out to discuss the problem, which is apparently not down to a hack on their end.

Wot No GTA Online Heists - Are Rockstar Holding Back For The New Version?

Rockstar has apologised for the continued absence of GTA Online's multiplayer heists, which were promised at launch, then Spring, then delayed into the ether. Apparently they need more time to deliver.

Call me a cynic, and I'd love to be wrong, but I'm not entirely convinced that time is the only factor here. Especially when they could easily turn an embarrassing delay into a 'next-gen' feature.

Grand Theft Auto Complete Package just £5.94 at Greenman Gaming

Grand Theft Auto Complete Package | GMG | £5.94
Voucher Code: IFDSUM-MERSAL-E15OFF

Greenman Gaming's 'Grand Theft Auto: Complete Package' is guilty of false advertising, but in an unexpectedly brilliant way. Contrary to the store description, it actually contains the original GTA and GTA 2 right through Vice City, San Andreas, GTA IV and its excellent DLC - so the only missing piece is GTA V. Cheap as chips too. Thanks to PolkadotCadaver @ HUKD!

PSN sale discounts Rockstar games, F1 2013 & Limbo

After bringing dealtastic discounts to Steam and Xbox Live, it's high time that Rockstar took aim at PSN. Their promoton is an absolute doozy, including GTA IV complete for £7.99, though Max Payne 3 is more expensive than XBL's offering at £5.99. From Bully and The Warriors to Manhunt and even the excellent GTA PSP titles, there's serious savings to be had if you've got a gap in your collection. As always, we've got the full list below, courtesy of the EU PlayStation Blog and lukeo44 @ HUKD!

But wait... there's more! Bleak monochromatic puzzler Limbo has been slashed down to £3.19 (£2.55 for PS+ members), while F1 2013 clocks in at an attractive £10.99 (£9.89 for PS+).

Rockstar games bullied down to size in Xbox Live Gold deals

This week's selection of Xbox Live Gold exclusive deals discounts a handful of Rockstar-developed games, presumably to celebrate their recent BAFTA winnings. Standout bargains include Max Payne 3 for £3.74 and Bully's Scholarship Edition for £2.99, though it's not the biggest sale we've ever seen.

Here are the links via the official Xbox Marketplace splash page. However, thanks and credit to blizeH @ HUKD, who not only found the deals ahead of time but rounded them up too!

Rockstar Steam Weekend includes Max Payne Complete for £7.19

Flushed with BAFTA success, Rockstar have put their entire Steam catalogue on sale this weekend. Though almost all of their bundle deals have been posted cheaper before -- such as the £6.99 GTA complete pack that we've seen as low as £4.99 in years past -- there are still some savings to had. Max Payne 3's complete bundle clocks in at £7.19 (completionists can buy Max Payne 3: Complete and the original two games for extra DLC, if they don't mind paying an extra few pence), while Manhunt is incredibly cheap.

Anyway, it's probably worth browsing over and seeing if you can plug any gaps in your backlog collection.

Price comparisonGTA V Review

If you haven't bought Grand Theft Auto V yet, your calculated apathy is about to pay of in spades thanks to this stonking deal. £20 is a huge saving, and the cheapest we've seen from the massive crime sandbox.

Personally-speaking, I emerged from the campaign much more impressed than Matt and Carl (not to mention Brendan) both in terms of the world, missions, progression, pacing and story. Mind you, I did enjoy the luxury of playing it through at my own pace. Thanks to gem_boss @ HUKD for finding this scorcher of a deal!

Max Payne 3 | GMG | £2.99
PC price comparison | Voucher Code: PH4V4F-33PTVI-5HXNWG

Max Payne 3's Brazillian setting stops Rockstar's sequel from realising the series' trademark noir style, but if you're a fan of jumping around in slow motion and sliding down walls while peppering foes with bullets, you could do a lot worse for £2.99. Green Man Gaming's voucher code brings Max Payne 3 down to the pocket money level, a considerable saving that matches Steam's cheapest sale prices. Thanks to TobyG @ HUKD!

GTA V's Beach Bum DLC Pack Is Out Now, Has Dune Buggy Racing & A Broken Bottle (Wow!)

Wake Us Up When The Heists Arrive

Grand Theft Auto V has received its first downloadable content  today, in the form of the Beach Bum pack, which includes 30 new jobs, new vehicles and weaponry for both story mode and GTA Online.

What, not interested? Sorry, let me rephrase that. GTA V has received its first downloadable content  today, in the form of the free Beach Bum pack. That's better.

Still, we're going to need those heists soon if Rockstar's online playground can retain its player base, what with those next-gen consoles scant days from release.

GTA Online Stimulus Package Is Finally Rolling Out, But Is It Too Little Too Late?

Rockstar has finally confirmed that Grand Theft Auto Online players can buy all the strippers ever thanks to the long-awaited Stimulus Package, which will be deposited into player accounts over the next couple of days. However, it will have to be the first step in a concerted effort to add depth and long-term appeal to the multiplayer madhouse.
